What do you want to know?
-
Refine your primary outcome
-
Identify study design
-
Conduct a sample size estimation

How will you collect the data?
-
Observational studies
-
Analytical or experimental studies
-
Interventional studies

How will you analyse the data?
-
Assess normality of data
-
Calculate summary statistics, such as mean and median
-
Compare summary estimates, such as using a t-test
Out of all participants who answered our feedback survey*, all of them agreed that;
-
what they learned directly helped their research project
-
that the majority of the topics were relevant to them
-
that they would recommend the workshop to others
*Seven out of 14 participants completed our survey - always know your sample size! On that note, 'Sample Size Estimation' was the favourite session of the day!
